Amocat Open House, 2011

So, after Goodguys on Saturday, I cruised over to the Amocat party.  Lotsa friends, beer and great cars.  Even though my house is only a few blocks away, I didn't get home until after 3 a.m.....   again....  Many thanks to Steve, Josh and everyone who's involved in putting this one on!

I hadn't seen Keith's Hudson in paint yet, and it looked damn good.

Josh's new project.  I cannot wait until this sucker's done.  The tank is from a Bearcat, and the wheels are from Home Depot...

I tried quite a few times to get a picture without someone standing right in front of me, but this was as good as it got.

Goodguys Puyallup, 2011

Since I only live a few blocks away, I decided to ride my bike over to the Goodguys show 'round mid afternoon on Saturday before going to the Amocat Open House.  I ran into a bunch of friends, soaked up some much needed sunshine and saw a lot of old cars.  Some much to my taste, many others... not so much.  Here's some stuff I liked:

So, here's a strange one:  The car I'm building at Clayton's is a '24 T roadster on Wide 5's, and I was hoping to make a hood top for it as well.  Just like the car above...  The owner showed up and told me that this car is actually in The Rodder's Journal #10.

Clay's '33

While we were stayin' down at Clay's house in late June, he mentioned that he needed some photos of his Tudor w/o fenders for his website.  I looked out the window, and the late afternoon sunlight looked pretty good, so he pulled out into the middle of his field and I snapped off a few.  Here's some highlights...

For more about this car, you can check it out on his website here.
