Cherry Blossoms and a Hotrod Homecoming

And.... she's finally home!  After many years of traveling to and from California to do the work, a trip to the east coast to play in the sand and a little stay in Texas waiting for the ride to Washington State, my little Model T has finally made it!  It was a nice day and the cherry trees were blooming, soooo...

The wifey got home from work while I was shooting, so yeah, I got her involved fresh from her commute.

The Race of Gentlemen 2015 - On the Street #TROG

So, as much fun as the actual race is, there's a lot of time off the beach at The Race of Genglemen.  Here's some photos from the street and the lot at the host location, accross the street from the Starlux Hotel.  A ton of good times to be had.

I raced this killer car on Sunday, but unfortunately it broke mid-run and it had to be towed back to the pits.

Bobby Green's little Whippet Speedster.  This thing is so neat.

Yeah, whatever, Claydo.  Just act natural.

Clayton havin' a morning chat with Mr. Brian Bass, who happened to bring a car that our buddy Flip once owned, and it spent some of that time at Clay's house.

The Race of Gentlemen 2015 - At the Track #TROG

Ah, The Race of Gentlemen.  I've wanted to go since I first saw event coverage a few years ago.  And it didn't disappoint.  So much cool stuff to look at and a lot of like-minded folks to hang out with.  What a load of fun.  This is one of those things where if you have any sort of interest in these kinds of things, and if you have a chance to go, you really should.  It's a good time guaranteed. Here's some photos from the beach, mostly Saturday.

These are some of the original Oilers from way back.
